Zero strings, 4 resident cards
Leave the programme with 30 days’ notice. Zero penalties, zero exclusivity. On activation you receive 4 annual resident TPCards — for you and who lives with you. Rule: a card counts as used with at least 1 scan in the month; idle cards may be deactivated. Today the system does not deactivate anything on its own.
The tourist buys the card. Full stop.
The taxi driver is every tourist's first conversation in Tenerife. Where to eat well, where to go on an excursion. And they buy the card anyway — at the hotel, in the apartment, from a driver who already has the QR. The question isn't whether. It's from whom.

Do I have to be the one to explain the card to the passenger?
No. The QR is on display in the vehicle. Anyone interested scans it themselves. You don’t have to be a salesperson — you just have to be there.
How long does the QR last? Does the sun ruin it?
The QR is personal, not tied to the car. If you change vehicles, you take your QR with you. No plastic mounts to install or replace.
How do I know how many cards I've sold?
Open the web app on your phone: you see today’s sales, monthly commission and next payout. No app to install.
Do the tiers reset every month?
Yes. The tier is calculated monthly: each month starts from the cards sold that month.
What happens if a passenger asks for a refund?
No. Refunds are handled by TPCard Customer Care via the customer’s email. If there is a full refund within 24h of purchase, we flag it in your dashboard. Total transparency.
Do I have to declare the commissions to the tax authorities?
Yes. Commissions are paid as a service. If you're self-employed, you invoice TPCard SL monthly. If you're not, we help you understand how to handle it. Total transparency, no tricks.
Can my cooperative forbid it?
TPCard doesn’t interfere with the ride: the QR is passive and on display. You don’t sell, explain or promote. That said, every cooperative has its own internal rules. If you’re unsure, read them or ask us for a summary of the standard clause to pass on to your representative.
Can I leave the programme whenever I want?
Yes: you can leave the programme with 30 days’ notice, with no penalties. Commissions already earned are paid in the next cycle.
